How Spineless Politicians are looting our Country?

How Spineless Politicians are looting our Country?

Here goes the fuel price up again. Now by Rs.3.52 (petrol) and Rs.3.06 (diesel) Within 2 weeks this is the 2nd time. And this time it's the highest. Reason? Increase in crude oil price, the fall in Indian rupee value. During election campaign, various parties promise to keep a check on inflation. But none of them fulfilled it. When a new government comes to rule, we can see tremendous fall in prices of commodities and fuel. And to equalize this the people have to carry the price burden for 4 years. Hoping that the next government will bring about a change and hope in their lives, but the hard truth is this will never happen. The fall in price will be in paise. Whereas the increase, it will be in rupees. When will we people as the Finance Ministry, the Oil & Petroleum ministry to take immediate steps to curb to check this kind of hike which is

almost more than 6 times a year. The same age old reason the government gives simple "global slow-down, dip in crude oil prices and rupee weakness. Why should we get used to such change without raising our voice? Why don't the politicians curb their unwanted travel and save the fuel? Who will take this initiative? Why can't they travel like common people and keep wasting our money? The ruling government on whom we place our trust ruin and leave us in debts but don't forget to fill their treasuries before their tenure is over.

Which politician hasn't doubled his/her wealth? We often see these atrocities but why doesn't the government increase our salaries at least twice a year? Won't it be proportionate? While taking these decisions, why doesn't the politicians take a survey and depending on the result it should be decided whether to increase or let the price be the same of the said commodity. After all it's we who pay and buy. So the buyer should have the right to even fix prices. The people's representative (the politician) is true only when they come house to house for campaigning. We hardly see them come to our places to solve our problems. 90% of our populations are badly affected due to this. Why don't we ask the government on what basis do they follow these strategies?

Production increases as per demands. Why not the salary as per the price hike? Did any leader argue about this rightly for the people in the parliament? It might have but only to interrupt the session. Another main promise by the contesting candidates is "free electricity" to the farmers. Yes they do fulfill this promise but only for just 2 months. And after that its power cut for 12 hours, adding to this price rise in pesticides, insecticides the list goes on.

The state government's promises to procure electricity from neighboring states but the burden is put on the common man. Yet we face frequent power cuts and worst during summer. Where is the respite for the common man? It's all our fault. We believe these politicians knowing very well that we will be deceived.

Our leaders are very busy strengthening their "kursi" at the centre rather than making a survey about the problems the common is facing. Its very true to say that our politicians do pinch the child (common man) and then try to rock the cradle (by getting down prices by mere paise as a consolation). When will be like scapegoats? Like parasites these leaders live on public finance. It's times we teach them their lessons. Let's all ask our politicians as to how do they make use of our taxes.
