Do You Believe That Bigger Government Is A Good Thing

Do You Believe That Bigger Government Is A Good Thing

Is a bigger federal government the right answer? Some people would have you believe that it can solve all of the problems that the United States has. They think that open a branch for this, or an office for that, that all of our problems are solved.

Isn't it the federal government that got us where we are today. By logic it takes more money to expand government then to shrink it. When add more branches and more offices you have to populate them with employees who are on the federal payroll, which by the way is supported by our taxes.

The government is not a for profit entity, so they depend on our tax money to do the things that they want to do. Which by the way most of the people don't want them to do I.E. (Obamacare) the majority of the United States citizens didn't want this law, but we got it any way.

You don't see the federal government being forced to put their families on Obamacare do you? That is because they don't want to lose their Cadillac plans that they already have. Burt the people are forced to be on Obamacare or pay the price.

One of the big government expansions that we got during the Clinton administration wasFannie Mae. Fannie Mae provides financial products and services that increase the availability and affordability of housing for low-, moderate- and middle-income Americans.

In theory this sounds like a great idea. But it has a shelf life that has just about expired. It not only Fannie Mae it is also Freddy Mac another company created by the federal government to do competition with Fannie Mae with the idea of the free market helping to drive prices down.

The federal government has realized that they aren't the right people to control the mortgage market. They know that the private sector can handle this idea a lot better with a for profit model that is not controlled by the federal government.

These two mortgage giants are most likely going down in flames, but is another government bailout on the horizon. Or will this happen just in time to keep Obama in office indefinitely. Is this another engineered failure of a couple of giant companies?

I know all you lefties will say not true, but the proof is out there all you have to do is read it. Of course they blame the failure on thieves, but it was the job of the federal government to keep the thieves out of the cookie jar and they failed, the blame falls son them.

Although I don't like the idea of the government running the mortgage market if the two companies go down in flames it means another 5.2 trillion dollars of debt that this country has to assume. Let ask you what happens then.

Can we recover from that, and what happens if we don't recover. I think all of the federal expansion needs to come to a halt now, and we need to make sure that all unneeded government offices and expansions are shut down ASAP with no excuses.

As you see Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac will cause huge problems for the United States if they go down right now. They need to need, it there needs to be a strategy that involves the correct timing for them to go down, we need to build the economy of this country back first.
